RPRTA (“we”, “us”, “our”) provides a location-based reminder application (“RPRTA”, the “App”). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect information when you use the App and related services (collectively, the “Services”).

1. Information We Process

• Location data (device-derived): used to determine proximity to places you define and to trigger prompts.
• User content: reminders/actions you create and any places/POIs you save within the App.
• Technical data: limited device/app information (e.g., app version, device type) for reliability and troubleshooting.

2. How We Use Information

• Provide core functionality (matching context/location and triggering prompts).
• Maintain and improve reliability, performance, and safety.
• Respond to support requests.

No advertising: RPRTA does not sell personal data and does not use personal data for targeted advertising.

3. Storage and Processing

For v1, RPRTA is designed to minimize data collection and keep functionality local to your device where possible. Reminder content and saved places may be stored locally on your device. Location processing may occur on-device whenever feasible.

If future versions introduce optional cloud sync or server-side services, we will update this policy and describe what data is transmitted, how it is secured, and what controls you have.

4. Sharing and Disclosure

We do not share your personal data with third parties for advertising purposes.

We may disclose limited information:

• Service providers: e.g., crash reporting or infrastructure providers, solely to operate and improve the Services.
• Legal reasons: to comply with law, regulation, legal process, or enforceable governmental request.
• Safety: to protect rights, property, or safety of users and the public.

5. Location Permissions

Location permission is required for location-based prompts. You can change permissions at any time in your device settings. If you disable location permissions, place-based prompts may not function.

6. Data Retention and Deletion

• You can delete reminders and saved places within the App.
• Uninstalling the App removes locally stored app data from your device (subject to your OS behavior and any device backups you have enabled).
• If we introduce accounts or cloud sync, we will provide deletion controls appropriate to those features.

7. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

8. Children’s Privacy

The Services are not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us.

9. International Users

If you use the Services from outside the country where our systems operate, your information may be processed there. We aim to minimize collection and processing regardless of location.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy to reflect changes in the Services. We will revise the “Last updated” date accordingly.
